History of GSA

Gulf South Animated Motion Technologies, Inc. (GSA) is a distributor, marketer and manufacturer of a unique line of products. The company began with the line of light emitting diodes (LED) products and animated and programmable fiber optic products. This technology, when placed into flexible materials like cotton, denim, wool, vinyl and paper, presents a dazzling display of any logo and or identifying marks – a new and unique presentation that is ideal for marketing or identifying a company, product, school, fraternity, or anything else that you want to excite people about. GSA has several prototypes licensed and ready for production and three finished products in retail outlets here in Louisiana. Fiber optic podium caps for Louisiana State, Southern and Grambling State Universities are being sold in such notable stores as Albertson’s in Baton Rouge, the Hudson News Group in the New Orleans Airport, a few independent retailers and Walgreen’s Drugs in four New Orleans locations. Talks are also underway with several other major local and regional retail chains.

Since 2001 and especially since Hurricane Katrina (2005), GSA has continually diversified its operations and currently offers products and services in the following areas:

• Janitorial and Paper Products

• Chemicals and Laboratory Products

• Office Supplies, Equipment and Furniture

• Apparel-Collegiate and Other

Also included under the GSA brand name d/b/a is GSA Wholesale and Medical Supplies-a well- diversified business…… experiencing renewed growth and positioned for success in the rebuilding South Louisiana.

The Company (GSA) was completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, but has restructured, restocked and re-open in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is now grappling with the “post- Katrina survival blues” – a very familiar scenario in South Louisiana that has yet to be addressed.

MISSION STATEMENT

GSA’s mission is to become an extremely profitable and leading manufacturer and distributor of unique and patented fiber optic and light emitting diodes (LED) products in the United States and abroad. The company will continually develop direct buying relationships with manufacturers to sell a diversified line of profitable products to customers in the Gulf South Region and nationally. GSA will become a well-managed company that cultivates good community presence and fosters employee growth and satisfaction.
